1 Overview
This guide describes the configuration procedures required for the Spectralink 84xx Series
for interoperability with BroadWorks. This includes the following models:
Spectralink 8440
Spectralink 8441
Spectralink 8452
Spectralink 8453
The 84xx Series is a wireless SIP phone that uses the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) to
communicate with BroadWorks for call control.
This guide describes the specific configuration items that are important for use with
BroadWorks. It does not describe the purpose and use of all configuration items on the
