Note
If you did not order the optional accessory set, follow these steps to install the supplied base chassis accessories
on the Cisco ASR 9006 Router.
Procedure
Step 1
Attach the plastic accessory piece to the fan tray door using two supplied screws. Insert the screws through
the fan tray door from the inside of the door into the accessory piece (see the figure below).
Step 2
Attach the left metal mounting bracket to the front upper left corner of the chassis with three screws.

Step 3
Attach the right metal mounting bracket to the front upper right corner of the chassis with three screws.
Step 4
Attach the left and right side brackets to the chassis front edge on each side (see the figure below). Attach
each bracket to the chassis using three screws per bracket inserted from the inside of the chassis, through the
three chassis tabs into the plastic brackets. Tighten the screws to a torque of 7 in-lb (0.80 N-m).
