Procedure for Connecting AC power Cable to Access Point
To connect an AC power cable to the access point, perform these steps:

Prior to applying AC power, ensure the access point is grounded (see

Turn off power to the AC power source at the designated circuits.
Warning
This unit might have more than one power supply connection. All connections must be removed to
de-energize the unit.
Statement 1028
Caution
When connecting the access point AC power connector, always connect the access point end of the cable
FIRST. When removing the AC power connector, always disconnect the access point end of the cable
LAST.
Step 3
Align the numbered holes in the AC power cable connector with the pins in the access point AC power
port (on the base of the 1572EAC. See
), and push the cable connector into the access point
connector.
Step 4
When the connector is fully seated in the AC port, hand tighten the cable connector ring by turning it
clockwise.
