Detail Enhancement
Detail Enhancement function is used to improve the picture quality. The default value is Low and you can set it to
Medium or High with a medium quality input signal.

Advanced Picture Settings
Aperture Control
The Ultimate Reference Lens™ is features a variable electronic Aperture. This function is used to optically adjust
the light output depending of the viewing conditions and the targeted light ambiance. You can adjust the aperture
from 10% to 100%.
Noise Reduction

TNR
The Temporal Noise Reduction function is used to reduce the temporal digital noise on the picture. Adjust the TNR
value to: Off, Low, Medium or High.

MNR
The Mosquito Noise Reduction function is used to reduce the Mosquito noise on the picture, generally found in
compressed digital video signals such as television broadcast or encoded movies. Adjust the TNR value to: Off,
Low, Medium or High.

BAR
The Block Artifact Reduction function is used to reduce digital noise on the picture using a block scaling method.
Using a large portion of the picture to reduce the digital noise ensures a higher quality filter. Adjust the BAR value to
On or Off.
Selective Color
The Blackwing One features an unique calibration ease with the integrated Selective Color menu: each primary and
secondary color can be independently calibrated to obtain a precise color balance in a snap.
Adjust the Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow range and saturation.
STI: Signal Transition Improvement

LTI
The Luminance Transition Improvement function is used to improve the input signal and optimize the projected
picture by using the full luminance output range. Caution: this function may alter the original picture brightness and
contrast.

CTI
The Chrominance Transition Improvement function is used to adapt the input signal color transitions to the projected
picture to improve the color perceived on the screen. Caution: this function may alter the original picture
chrominance.
Blue Only
The Blue Only function is used to disable the Red and Green channels.
