3. PLANNING
Cinderella is approved for use in bathrooms/wet rooms (IP 34 classification),
but must not be hosed down with water. Contact a VWS-installer if you
have any questions regarding wet room regulations. The toilet must be pla-
ced on a hard, level surface. Cinderella may be installed on a heated floor.
There are no requirements related to installation and the distance to
flammable objects, and Cinderella may be installed in rooms without heating.
The enclosed chimney hat must always be used with the outlet air pipe.
The chimney hat is designed to ensure sufficient ventilation and minimal
backpressure. If the outlet air pipe is to be enclosed (using metal sheets, for
example), the end of the pipe must protrude at least 400 mm, study fig. 1.
Before cutting a hole, check that there is no conflict with electric systems or
water pipes in the area you will be drilling.
If you have any questions related to installation, kindly contact the nearest
distributor or service centre. You may also consult the website
www.cinderellaeco.no.
Decide first whether the outlet air pipe should be fed directly up through the
ceiling, or horizontally out through the external wall and above the roof.
400 mm
Alternative 1:
If the outlet air pipe is installed horizontally
through the external wall, the toilet must be
placed about 50mm from the wall.
Alternative 2:
If the outlet air pipe is fed directly up through the
ceiling, the T-bend will require a space of about
230mm behind the toilet, and the toilet will
therefore be located slightly further into the room.
