2.3.3.4.2. Parameters configuration
Some of these settings cannot be edited / modified on the CU. PhotoGetData has to
be used to modify them.
In SETTINGS\GSM\GPRS\HTTP
•
HTTP : Enable or disable HTTP(S) automatic action [OFF; ON]: OFF .
•
Secured : Use HTTPS instead of HTTP when ON. [OFF; ON]: OFF .
•
HOST : Name of the HTTP(S) host. Maximum length: 32
characters. Default: ““.
•
USER : Username used to login on the HTTP(S) server. Maximum length: 32
characters. See the
note for more information. Default: ““.
•
PASS : See the note for more information.
•
PATH : PATH of the service to upload the files. Maximum length: 64 characters.
Default: ““.
•
PORT : Communication port used to establish the HTTP(S) session
communication with the HTTP(S) server [1; 65535]: 80 for HTTP. The user has
to change the value to 443 manually when using HTTPS.
•
HTTP interval : HTTP(S) transmission period. [00:00:00; 23:59:59]: 01:00:00 .
•
HTTP offset : HTTP(S) start period. [00:00:00; 23:59:59]: 00:00:00 .
Note: Some server requires an authentication to accept the communication. You have
to enter a username and a password for the HTTP(S) server. Let empty if not used.
For security reason, the password is not displayed in the CU and cannot be read back
by the user.
2.3.3.4.3. How to convert a HTTP(S) server URL to CU
settings?
Ex: This server URL https://dummy:foo1234@www.myserver.com:2020/path1/Path2
has to be configured like this in the CU:
•
HTTP : ON to enable automatic action.
•
Secured : ON. Because it is an HTTPS server.
•
HOST : www.myserver.com
•
USER : dummy
•
PASS : foo1234 (This field is available in PhotoGetData only).
