7.5. Cleaning the printer

All surfaces of the printer, with the exception of the

linear rails, can be cleaned with a damp, soft cloth

and a little mild soapy water.

If necessary, clean the linear guides with a dry, lint-

free piece of paper or cloth.

Remove only excess grease and dirt if necessary.

A thin film of lubricant should remain on the linear

guide.

7.6. Maintenance

Minor maintenance work can be carried out

by yourself. Follow the instructions below and

the maintenance schedule.

Warning: Shut down and disconnect the prin-

ter from the power supply before starting any

maintenance work.

At least every two years, the unit must be fully

serviced by trained personnel. The technical

protective devices must be checked as well

as the proper condition of mechanical com-

ponents. We offer a maintenance service for

this purpose. If you have any questions, plea-

se contact us at https://choc-mate.de.
