A. Protection MOV for DC Input Side
It is the surge protection that is equipped and used to protect input circuit
against excessive voltage on the DC connections.
B. Bypass Terminal block for DC Input Side
It is the bypass terminal block for solar (+) and solar (
–) polarity that used
to co-operate with an external combiner box and external fuses. The
maximum current of this DC input bypass terminal block is 38A and the
required torque values of the screws is 17.4 lbf-in (20 Kgf-cm).
When the PV Inverter is connected to the PV module through an external
combiner and external fuses are used, the configuration of DC input cable
can be connected with the bypass terminal block directly.

IMPORTANT
If the DC input cable is connected with the bypass terminal block
directly, it is important to ensure the limitation of maximum
current is below 38A through a single pair cable as figure 6.2.1
mentioned.
