Attaching Left and Right Speakers

The method for attaching speakers is determined by the display
size and the amount of desired speaker extension.

CAUTION:

The individual weight of each left/right (end)

speaker attached to the CM4 must not exceed 18 lbs
(8.16 kg) each.

NOTE:

Figure 11 illustrates a bracket attachment for a 42"

display (most likely the smallest display used on the
CM4). A smaller display would allow the mount to show
from behind the display.

NOTE:

Figure 12 illustrates the bracket attachment for a larger

display and for the maximum speaker extension of
approximately 9 feet (2.74 m).

NOTE:

Installer may need to move speaker arms apart to

allow room for speaker installation. Pull one arm slowly
until adequate space is available.

1.

After determining the bracket attachment method
necessary for speaker installation, attach the bracket (K) to
the speaker using hardware specified by speaker
installation instructions and two optional rubber washers (F)
for each speaker. (See Figure 13)

NOTE:

If the speaker holes do not match the bracket screw

holes, refer to the speaker installation instructions for
further information on attaching the brackets to the
