IR Sensor Placement
The IR sensor placement is crucial to proper operation of the
CM4.
1.
Plug IR sensor (V) into control box. (See Figure 19)
2.
Use two-sided tape, or a similar attachment device to attach
the IR sensor (V) end to the display or any non-moving part
of the CM4. Do NOT attach it to either of the speaker arms.
3.
Ensure that IR sensor "eye" has "line of sight" to the remote
control signal.
System Activation
1.
Plug power supply block (U) into the 24VDC input on side of
control box. (See Figure 19)
2.
Plug power cord (S) into end of power supply block (U).
3.
Plug power cord (S) into 115VAC outlet.
Figure 19
4.
Attach one side of hook and loop material (R) to the power
supply block (U) and one side to the area where you wish to
attach the power supply block.
IMPORTANT ! :
A quality surge protection device is
recommended.
Setting Speaker Retraction/Extension Limits
The CM4 is shipped with pre-set speaker retraction/extension
limits from the factory. The speaker retraction and extension
limits can easily be re-set so the CM4 is ready to use.
1.
Ensure nothing is obstructing speaker movement.
2.
Determine how close to the display the speakers should be
at their retracted setting.
Figure 20
3.
Attach a shim or similar object to one side of display to
indicate the retraction limit for the speaker arms. (See
Figure 20)
Figure 21
4.
If using the full limits (9 ft) of speaker arm extension, loosen
the Extension Limit Adjustment a full turn and move it fully
to the right end of the channel, then tighten. (See Figure 21)
