Next, install a second Ladder Safety Cage Hoop (9342605) at the top of each of the (2) two Ladder
Eave Posts making sure to install the bolts from the inside of the cage outward. After the top Ladder
Safety Cage Hoop is in place begin installing the 53” Eave Safety Cage Straps (9399347) along the very
top Ladder Safety Cage Hoop making sure to install the bolts from inside of the cage and nut on the
outside. Leave the cage strap fasteners just finger tightened for now and do not install the fasteners
along the bottom of the 53” Eave Safety Cage Straps at this time.
Important Note: It is recommended that before proceeding with the full completion of the Eave Rail
Assembly that you install the top most section of the ladder assembly at this time.
Remove the previously installed fasteners in the two holes in the horizontal seam (formed by the
overlap of Ring #1 and Ring #2) directly below the first (2) two installed Ladder/Hoop Brackets. Install
(2) two additional Ladder/Hoop Brackets (9396242) directly below the first pair of Ladder/Hoop
brackets, re-using the same nut/bolts that you just removed previously from the horizontal seam.
When reinserting the hardware be certain to use the sealing washer and flat washer as previously
indicated and install the Bin Bolt from the inside of the bin.
Examine the
OUTSIDE LADDER STACKING LAYOUT for your particular grain storage assembly and
determine whether your top most Ladder Section is a 1 Ring Ladder Section (887450) or a 2 Ring
Ladder Section (887452). Locate your top most Ladder Section, (2) two Ladder Clip Bolt Assy
(9342512) and (2) two 5/16” Whiz Nuts.
Position your first Ladder Section so that the CENTERLINE of bottom ladder rung (1 Ring Ladder
Section) or the fourth rung from the top (2 Ring Ladder Section) measures approximately 10” from the
horizontal seam at the overlap of Sidewall Ring #1 and Ring #2.
