INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING
1.
WARNING! Always disconnect the Battery Charger’s
Charging Plug
from the Hammer Drill/Driver and unplug the Battery Charger from its elec-
trical outlet before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning of
the tool.
2.
Before each use, inspect the general condition of the tool. Check for misalign-
ment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, damaged wiring, and
any other condition that may affect its safe operation. If abnormal noise or vibra-
tion occurs with the tool, have the problem corrected before further use.
Do not use damaged equipment.
3.
To clean, use a clean, damp, cloth to clean the outer surfaces of the Hammer Drill/
Driver and accessories. A mild detergent may be used. Do not use solvents. Do
not immerse the Hammer Drill/Driver, Batter, or Battery Charger in water.
4.
When storing, always keep the Hammer Drill/Driver and accessories in the Car-
rying Case and in a safe, clean, dry location.
