OpERATIOn: Turn the On/OFF
Switch (38) of the Leaf Eater/
Shredder to its “OFF” position
and unplug the tool from its
electrical outlet before
performing any inspection,
maintenance, or cleaning
procedures.
Work Area Set up
Designate a work area that is clean

Reset button:
The ON/OFF Switch (38) is located

on the left side of the Filter Housing.
To turn on the tool, push in the top
end of the Switch to its
“On”
posi-
tion. To turn off the tool, push the
Switch down to its
“OFF”
position.

The Circuit Breaker Reset Button (39)

is located on the lower, outside front
of the Motor Cover (26). The Circuit
Breaker is designed to shut off the
tool in the event of an overload. To
restart, place the ON/OFF Switch
(38) in its
“OFF”
position. Push
the Reset Button. Wait about three
minutes, and then place the ON/OFF
Switch in its
“On”
position.
