speed, you can also use the accelerator
pedal to accelerate as normal. After the
accelerator pedal is released, the system
will return to the original cruising speed.
2. Deactivating Cruise Control
If you need to immediately decelerate
while using cruise control, you can press
the brake pedal or clutch pedal, or press
the cruise deactivation button

or pull
the toggle button toward

. The vehicle
exits the current cruise state and enters
the cruise activation state, and the cruise
indicator flashes. If you press the
I
button or pull the toggle button toward
I
in the cruise state, the whole cruise
system will be deactivated and the
indicator will go out.
3. Resuming a Set Speed
When the vehicle exits the cruise state
and enters the cruise activation state,
if you want to resume the previous
cruising speed, pull the toggle button
once toward RES/+. Then cruise control is
carried out at the previously-saved speed.
For example, the cruising speed is
60 km/h before braking and becomes
50 km/h after braking, and the cruise
indicator flashes. Pull the toggle button
once toward the RES/+; the cruise
indicator will be on, and the vehicle will
automatically speed up to 60 km/h and
enter the cruise control state.
4. Increasing Cruise Control Speed
Pull the toggle button toward the RES/+
and the set cruising speed will increase
without the need to press the accelerator
pedal. The speed will increase by 2 km/h
every time you pull up the switch once.
If the toggle button is kept pressed, the
vehicle speed will continuously increase.
Once the switch is released, the running
speed will be saved into memory and
the vehicle will cruise at the speed.
5. Decreasing Cruise Control Speed
Pull the toggle button toward the SET/-
to reduce the cruising speed. The speed
will reduce by 2 km/h every time you
pull down the switch once. If the toggle
button is kept pressed, the vehicle speed
will continuously reduce. Once the
control is released, the running speed
will be saved into memory and the
vehicle will cruise at the speed. If the
toggle button is released when the
vehicle speed reduces to about 40 km/h
(less than 40 km/h), the saved value will
be deleted. If To continuously drive at
the cruise control speed, reset the
cruising speed.

Warning
Cruise control can be dangerous where
you cannot drive safely at a steady
speed. Do not use cruise control on
winding roads or in heavy traffic.
Cruise control can be dangerous on
slippery roads. On such roads, fast
changes in tire traction can cause
excessive wheel slip, and you could lose
control. Do not use cruise control on
slippery roads.
After the cruise control system is started,
if you intend to shift the manual
transmission to Neutral, always press the
clutch pedal first. Otherwise, it may cause
the engine to overspeed and be damaged.
