Air Conditioner Control
Press this button to
turn on the air con-
ditioner. When the
air
conditioner is
turned on, cool de-
humidified air will
flow
through the
outlets selected with the Mode con-
trol dial. An LED in the button illumi-
nates when manual compressor op-
eration is selected.
Recirculation Control
Press the recircula-
tion button to recir-
culate the air inside
the vehicle. Use the
recirculation
mode
to rapidly cool the
inside of the ve-
hicle. The recirculation mode can also
be used to temporarily block outside
odors, smoke, and dust, or when high
humidity is present. Activating recircu-
lation will cause the LED in the control
button to illuminate.
Rear Window Defroster
Rear Window Defroster
(If Equipped)
The rear window de-
froster button is lo-
cated on the climate
control panel. Press
the rear window de-
froster
button to
turn on the rear win-
dow defroster and the heated outside
mirrors (if equipped). An indicator in
the button will illuminate when the
rear window defroster is on. The rear
window defroster automatically turns
off after approximately 10 minutes.
Pressing the button again before the
10 minute time out period will deacti-
vate the rear window defroster.
CAUTION!
Use the following care for the rear win-
dow:
•
Do not use abrasive window clean-
ers on the interior surface of the
window.
•
Use a soft cloth and a mild wash-
ing solution, wiping parallel to the
heating elements.
•
Labels can not be peeled off unless
soaking with warm water.
•
Do not use scrapers, sharp instru-
ments, or abrasive window cleaners
on the interior surface of the win-
dow.
