5-4 Troubleshooting
Prior to start-up, the appliance has been tested by
qualified personnel
. The information contained in the
following table is intended to help find and fix possible failures and faults that may occur during use.
Some of these problems can be solved by the user, whilst all others
require specific technical know-how
and skills and must therefore be solved by qualified and expert personnel
.

The pilot flame does not

Load loss in the main

Contact the gas supply
company.

Pilot hole obstructed
Contact a qualified
technician.
Clean the pilot hole.
After releasing the knob,
the pilot flame goes out
The knob has not been
kept for long enough in
the
(Pilot) position to
allow for thermocouple
heating
Repeat the ignition
procedure for longer.

Thermocouple damaged
Contact a qualified
technician.
Replace the
thermocouple.
The pilot stays on, but
the burner cannot be
turned on
Load loss in the gas
pipe
Contact the gas supply
company.

Nozzle obstructed
Contact a qualified
technician.
Clean the burner nozzle.
Burner holes are
obstructed
Contact a qualified
technician.
Clean the burner
Smell of gas

Check sealing.
The flame intensity

longer
