INFORMATION CONCERNING REPLACEMENTS

Safety advice in case of replacements
When replacing worn or damaged parts, original
spares must always be used.
Special maintenance operations (non included in
this handbook) require a specialised workshop on
Replacing the driving wheel chain
For this operation, proceed as outlined below.
1) Unscrew the nuts (

) and remove the casing (

).
2) Turn the engagement device (

) to position (

lock the chain tensioner (

).
3) Pull the chain downwards.
4) Remove the chain (

).
CAUTION
The tensioner could move unexpectedly, causing in-
jury to the hands.
Proceed with the utmost caution.
the premises which meets the requirements speci-
fied by the relative laws in force (appropriate equip-
ment suitably trained staff etc.); if you do not have a
compliant workshop, contact an authorised one.
5) Fit a new chain.
6) Pull the chain downwards.
7) Turn the engagement device (

) to position (

) to re-
lease the chain tensioner (

).
8) Slowly release the chain to tension it.
9) Fit the casing (
B
) and tighten the nuts (

).
NOTICE
Fit the chain with the joining link positioned as
shown in the figure.
