Adjusting the plant spacing
The gap between one plant and the next depends on
the number of teeth on the pinions installed.
A series of pinions may be
fitted to ensure the required
plant spacing is obtained.
Choose the correct gear ratio if the machines feature
“Rapid Shift” gearboxes.
The charts state the possible distances between one
seedling and the next according to the pinions fitted.
