MEASUREMENT & RESULTS
Each measurement result must be saved by pressing the
MEM
MR
MEM
MEM
MR
key ; the results of the last 3
measurements are stored in the last OBJ:TEST number defined on the first measurement, with
extensions 1, 2 3 and 4.
Notes :

The OBJ:TEST number cannot be modified after the first measurement ;
→
→
→

once the first measurement has been triggered by pressing the « START/STOP »
pushbutton, no parameters (voltage, frequency) can be changed so long as the 3
measurements have not been completed. It is however possible, for the third measurement, to
use the cord compensation function (see below §4.2.2.2.) ;

the H and S electrodes must not be moved during the measurements.
Once the three measurements have been completed, the instrument calculates the coupling
coefficients and automatically stores them in the OBJ:TEST location in which the results of the three
measurements have been stored, with extension 4.
At the start of the measurement:
- the instrument measures U
S-E
and U
H-E
(and associated frequencies) : if U
S-E
and U
H-E
are
greater than 60V
peak
, the measurement is refused,
- the instrument checks the connections : if incorrect, the measurement is refused and the
faulty connection symbols flash,
- the instrument possibly measures, before the 3rd measurement, the cord compensation
resistance = R
∆
0.
- If a spurious voltage affects the accuracy of the measurement to be performed, the “NOISE”
symbol flashes.
During the measurement,
- if a voltage > 60 V
peak
is detected, the measurement is stopped.
Note :
If the measurement is unstable or the measurement results are inconsistent, trigger the measurement
to check that the problem is not a faulty connection.
On completion of measurements 1 and 2, the following quantities can be displayed using
the
