Heading
The heading on this screen will correspond to the treatment
mode you previously selected (Cervical or Lumbar; Static or
Intermittent).
Ramp Up Time
The ramp up time is the amount of time that it takes to build
up to the maximum force. The choices are: 30 seconds,
1 minute, 2 minutes and 3 minutes. The increase in force is
evenly distributed over the entire ramp time, in one second
intervals. For example, if you select a force of 60 lbs (in a
subsequent screen) and a ramp up time of one minute, the
force will increase one pound per second for sixty seconds.
If you select 60 lbs with a ramp up time of two minutes, the
force will increase 1/2 lb every second for 120 seconds. Enter
the ramp up time, using the up or down arrow keys provided.
Pressing the arrow keys toggles through the choices. After your
first use, the default will be whatever you selected on the last
treatment session.
Ramp Down Time
The ramp down time is the amount of time that it takes to
completely release the force at the end of treatment. The
choices are: 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes and 3 minutes.
The decrease in force is evenly distributed over the entire ramp
time, in one-second intervals. Enter the ramp down time, using
the up or down arrow icons. Pressing the arrow icon toggles
through the choices. After your first use, the default will be
whatever you selected on the last treatment session.
Next
Pressing Next advances to the next screen. Press Next when
you have finished selecting the ramp up and ramp down times.
If you are in Intermittent mode, the Next icon will advance to
the Hold/Rest Set screen. If you are in Static mode, the Next
icon will advance to the Time/Force Set screen.
Back
Pressing Back returns to the previous screen. Press Back if you
wish to change a selection on a previous screen.
