5. Test Switch Procedure
a. Take the unit to a proper maintenance area, and apply the parking brake.
b. Unbolt and remove the lower dash cover.

c. If equipped with the ignition switch turn the ignition switch to the on position (ignition),
leaving the engine off. If equipped with the push button switch, press the button once to
turn unit on. Do not press a second time to start the engine.

d. Flip the test switch up to activate the troubleshooting procedure.
