CAUTION

Cooking time is depending on the thickness of your batter, approx. 3-5 minutes.
2.
The fi rst heating process should take place without any batter, let the
appliance heat for about ten minutes. There may be a slight development of
smoke or smell, this is normal and harmless.
3.
If too much batter is inserted into the appliance, the unit cannot be closed or the
extra batter will come out. Never put batter over half of the lower bowl, around
1/3 will be best. Never close it with force as this could damage the lock.
4.
Never use a sharp fork or knife to remove the food as this will damage the
non-stick coating of the cooking surface. Use a heat-resistant wood or plastic
utensils only.
5.
Always unplug the appliance from the power socket when not in use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Be aware that parts of the appliance become very hot during operation. Make
sure that the appliance is switched off, unplugged and wait for it to completely
cool down before cleaning or storage.
2.
Wipe the cooking surface with a soft damp cloth after each use. If it is diffi cult to
remove residues, a little oil can soften it.
3.
Do not use any spray-on metal objects as they will damage the non-stick
coating.
4.
In case of any problem, please contact an authorized service center for help.
