LIMIT OF WARRANTY
The warranty is only valid if a qualified technician carries out the ins-
tallation.
The warranty does not cover faults due to:
abnormal environmental conditions:
• Positioning in a location that is affected by freezing or bad
weather.
• Supply using rainwater, well water or water which is highly
aggressive and not compliant with
national regulations and applicable standards.
• The warranty only covers the replacement or repair of appliances
and components which we have
acknowledged to be defective at origin. If
necessary, the part or product must be returned to one
of our factories, but only with prior authorisation from our
technical services. Labour, freight, packaging
and travel costs are payable by the user.
The replacement or repair of an appliance component does
not entail a right to compensation.
• Damaged caused by impacts or falling during handling following
delivery from the factory. In particular, water damage which
could have been avoided by carrying out immediate repairs to the
appliance.
The warranty only applies to the appliances and their components
and excludes all or part of the appliance's electrical or hydraulic sys-
tems.
• main supply with major overvoltage (if an electrical kit is installed).
an installation that does not conform to regulations, current
national standards and best industry practice.
In particular:
• Safety unit absent or incorrectly installed.
• Installation of a safety unit which does not conform to applicable
national standards and use of a second-hand safety unit
on a newly installed appliance.
• Modifying the safety unit settings after breaching the
seal.
• Abnormal corrosion due to incorrect hydraulic connection
(direct iron/copper contact).
• Faulty electrical connection, not compliant with applicable
national installation standards, incorrect earth connection, insuffi
- cient cable cross section, failure to observe the prescribed connec-
tion diagrams, etc. (if an electrical kit is installed).
• Powering the appliance on without filling it beforehand (dry
heating), if an optional electrical kit is being used.
Insufficient maintenance:
• Abnormal
scaling
of
the
heating
elements
and
safety devices.
• Failure to maintain the safety unit, resulting in over-
pressure (see manual).
• Jacket subjected to external abuse.
• Modifying original equipment without the manufacturer's
permission or using spare parts not recommended by the
manufacturer.
