5.2 Installation of Cha
ff
oteaux Room Sensor
The following procedure must be performed to complete the installation of the
accessory supplied with Chaff olink and to replace an old thermostat you may have
in your home.
Positioning
The accessory detects the room temperature, therefore several factors should be
taken into account when choosing an installation point.
Position the device far from heat sources (radiators, sunlight, fi replaces, etc.) and
from draughts, doorways and windows which could aff ect the temperature readings.
It should be installed approximately 1.5 metres above the fl oor level.
Wall installation
- Remove the upper part of the
room sensor (Fig. 1).
- Separate the fi
xing base by
inserting a screwdriver into the
two slits on the upper part (Fig. 2).
- Fix the room sensor base to the
wall in the chosen point, using the
wall plugs and screws provided
with the kit (Fig. 3).
