FEATURES
The performance characteristics for which the helmet has been designed are guaranteed only if it is
used correctly and if maintenance is perform as described in the instructions. Should this not be the
case, then the protective features cannot be guaranteed.
WARNINGS
Failure to respect the warnings listed below could have grave, and even life-threateing, consequen
-
ces. This helmet is designed to provide protection from impact, from penetration from above, from
tension and from exposure to flames, within the limits contemplated under the
EN 397:2012+A1:2012 Norm.
It is meant to reduce the effects of unforeseen events, but it cannot protect the head from all
eventualities.
TO ENSURE MAXIMUM PROTECTION, THE HELMET:
• MUST be properly placed on the head, and the webbing must be adjusted to ensure that the
helmet fits snugly, though with a certain degree of comfort.
• To ensure maximum stability of the helmet, always attach and adjust the chinstrap correctly; this
will help reduce shifting of the helmet resulting from certain environmental conditions.
• Inspect the helmet before and after each use, employing the inspection procedures described
in this manual and immediately replacing any worn or damaged part exclusively with spare parts
supplied by CERVA GROUP a.s. .
•NEVER use paints, solvents or detergents made from hydrocarbons on this helmet. Such substan-
ces can damage the materials in a manner not visible to the eye, reducing their protective actions.
MAINTENANCE CLEANING AND DISINFECTING
The helmet may be cleaned with the use of soap and warm water and dried with soft cloth. The
helmet should not be cleaned with abrasive substances or solvents.
Follow the procedure to clean the helmet
1) Dismantle the helmet.
2) Clean all the pieces inside and outside using only neutral soap and lukewarm water, with the
exception of swetband.
Do not use solvents, let dry at room temperature.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
This helmet MUST be kept in a clean, dry spot, not near sources of heat and at constant tempera-
ture of between 20° ± 15°C.
• NEVER keep the helmet inside the vehicle when not being used. Not only will it be exposed to
sunlight (UV rays and heat), but, if not adequate set in place, it could also be thrown about inside the
vehicle in the events of a sudden stop.
• This helmet should be stored in original packing container out of direct sunlight, away from
chemical and abrasive substances and where it will not be damaged by physical contact with hard
surfaces/items.
Keep the product in its original package when transporting. Do not put any weight above it.
SHOCKS
After a strong shock this helmet not to be use anymore. Internal invisible breakings could cause
resistance reductions in the following impacts.
