MB Pool & spa heater
CAUTION: Propane gas is heavier than air
and will settle on the ground. Since propane
can accumulate in confi ned areas, extra care
should be exercised when lighting propane
heaters.

This appliance is equipped with an ignition device
which automatically lights the pilot. Do not try to light
the pilot by hand.
BEFORE OPERATING after a prolonged off, smell all
around the appliance area for gas. Be sure to smell next
to the fl oor because some gas is heavier than air and
will settle on the fl oor.

Do not try to light any appliance

Do not touch any electric switch

Do not use any phone in your building.

Immediately call your gas supplier
from a neighbour's phone. Follow the
gas supplier's instructions.
* If you cannot reach your gas supplier,
call
the
fi re service.
Isolate the appliance with the Service Cock inside. If
this is not accessible, isolate at the gas meter.
Do not use this appliance if any part has been
under water. Immediately call a qualifi ed
service engineer to inspect the appliance and
to replace any part of the control system and
any gas control which has been under water.

Quick Start
Check that the Electricity and Gas Supplies are
on. Turn on the Pool Pump. Turn on the Heater
with the switch on the Front Panel and set the
desired temperature with the Pool Temperature
Knob. In a few seconds the Heater will fi re.

Pool Temperature Control Knob
16°C to 41°C (60°F to 106°F)
The Pool or Spa water temperature is controlled
by the Pool Temperature Knob, rotate anti-
clockwise to increase the Pool Temperature.
The Knob is fi tted with a means of limiting the
upper temperature limit below the maximum level.
The knob stop adjustment ring illustrated is ad-
justable by loosening the set screw, rotating the
knobstop ring to the desired location and retight-
ening the set screw.
High Limit
If the Heater temperature rises too high the
High Limit Thermostat will operate. Wait until
the Heater is cool then press 'Reset'. It will click
if it has had to reset. The Heater should now
run.
If this problem persists this should be investi-
gated by a Service Engineer.
ON/OFF Switch -
Turns the Heater On and Off
and resets the Ignition Control if locked out. For
longer periods of isolation the Heater should be
switched off at its Mains supply.
