INSTALLATION
Note: The air from the exhaust tube will contain evaporated water.
•
Ensure that the drain plug is securely in place before you start
the appliance to avoid water leaking out on the floor.
• Place the unit upright for at least 3 hours before you install it, to
allow the refrigerant to stabilize.
• A portable air conditioner shall be installed on a level surface to
avoid unnecessary noise. It should also be placed with empty
space all around (see fig. 1). Do not block the air outlet, and the
required distance around should be at least 30 cm.
• Must NOT be installed in dry cleaner.
• The unit shall NOT be installed in an environment with explosive
gases or chemicals.
•
Socket wiring should be in accordance with the local electric
safety requirements.
