3.5) Replacing the internal battery
– Turn the holding screw and remove the battery door (31).
– Slide battery out of its housing
– Detach plug connector
– Plug in new battery
– Slide new battery back in housing
– Refit and secure the battery door.
3.6) Storage
After completion of the work:
release the oil pressure
, by briefly pressing the push button
on the hand control; disconnect and store the hose, in the canvas bag; replace and secure
the lid, with the two fasteners (26). Store the machine in a clean, dry environment.
4. WARNING
– Avoid storing the batteries for any length of time in a discharged state. It is recommended
to fully recharge the batteries after use.
– Avoid dirty grounds: dust and sand are a danger for any hydraulic equipment.
– Do not bend or kink the hydraulic hose.
– Keep the pump in a dry place when not in use.
5. MAINTENANCE
Periodically check, at least every 6 months, the oil level (06). Top up if necessary (see
5.1
)
5.1) Topping up the oil
– Place the pump on a flat surface.
– Completely discharge the oil pressure by briefly pressing the hand control push button.
– Wait a couple of minutes for the oil to return to the reservoir and check the level (06).
If the level is low, slowly top up the oil until the maximum level is reached.
Do not overfill the machine.
Always use clean recommended oil, see § 1.
Do not use old or recycled oil.
Do not use hydraulic brake fluid.
