Bead insertion. Operation which takes place during
inflation and ensures perfect centring between the
bead and the rim edge.
Bead pressing tool. A tool intended for use when
mounting the top bead. It is positioned so that it
engages the shoulder of the rim and maintains the
upper tyre bead inside the well. It is generally used
for mounting low profile tyres.
Discharge regulator. Union allowing regulation of
the air flow.
Bead breaking. Operation used to detach the
bead from the rim edge..
