Schedule of Overhauls and Service Work
Chapter 5
A yearly overhaul must be performed after 12 months (±1 month) after the last yearly
overhaul or from the start of utilization.
Admissible time tolerances for performing an overhaul do not add up. For example, (in case
of a constant specification of deadlines for overhauls as per the calendar) the fourth yearly
overhaul should be performed after 48±1 months rather than after 48±4 months. Performing an
overhaul earlier than the admissible tolerance requires the commencement of calculating
successive overhauls anew, from the date of a performed overhaul.

10.1 Checking the tightening moments of the bolts
fixing the rotor mast.

M6 bolts: 10 Nm ± 1 Nm
M8 bolts: 24 Nm ± 1 Nm
10.2 Checking the tightening of the remaining bolts
of the fuselage structure (visually on the basis of
the paint marker).

If at least one bolt/nut loosens, tighten all the cooperating
bolts/nuts. The moment values according to subsection 3.7.
10.3 Checking that all the pushers are straight and in
good condition.

10.4 Checking clearances (wear) in the control stick
system.
Checking the condition and security of the rear
flexible mounting of the torsional pipe.

10.5 Checking the condition of rudder bowdens for
rubbed spots, corrosion, excessive friction as
well as signs of the wear of the tips.
Checking the connection of the tips to the pedals
and to the control surfaces. Lubricating the tips.

Apply WD40; remove the excess.
10.6 Checking the clamping rings fixing the rudder
bowdens to the tail pipes.

Replace even if they are only slightly damaged.
10.7 Checking that the drive shafts are not bent or
damaged.
Checking that the gear belts are not cracked or
damaged otherwise.

Lubricate the belts with talc if drive transmission is not
fluent.
If the belts are worn-out or damaged, replace them. Both
belts must always be replaced simultaneously.
10.8 Checking the fixing of the instruments to the
board and the connection of the electrical and
pneumatic leads to the instruments.

10.9 Checking that the tail wheels are not damaged or
their clamping rings are not bent.

Clean the axles and ensure the freedom of wheel rotation.
25.1 Checking that the rotor swing stops ensure
swing freedom ±10º.

Nylon sleeves (6135) cannot be squeezed too firmly.

Checking pressure in the tyres and that they
are not damaged or worn-out.
Pressure in the tyres:
standard: 2 bars; tundra: 1.5 bars.
Cleaning and lubricating the bendix
Apply WHS2002.
