5.6 Electrical installation
WARNING
Danger due to electrical voltage!
A non-qualified installation can impair the use of the device or lead to damage to the
device!

Only qualified electrical engineering personnel may install the Spider67 Mobile
modules.

Only operate on 24 V DC voltage.

Provide power supplies with SELV/PELV.

Provide an overcurrent
protection device (I ≤ 6 A) in the installation.
ATTENTION
Damages due to open plugs and sockets!
The protection class IP67 is only guaranteed if all connections are tightly sealed.

Seal unused plugs and sockets with screw plugs or caps.
5.6.1 Power supply M12 socket
ATTENION
Damage to the unit due to incorrect power supply or wrong polarity!
An unqualified power supply unit or power supply unit connected with the wrong polarity
can cause damage to the unit! The unit is not protected against reverse polarity!!

Use a suitable power supply unit!

Ensure correct polarity when connecting the power supply unit!
Connect power supply unit to power supply

Elco M12 socket, A-coded or M12 field
wiring socket, A-coded

Torque spanner M12

Torque: 0,8 Nm
Screw the M12 socket firmly onto the plug .
