The printer is not equipped with a function that signals the end of the
paper roll. Depending on the manufacturer in most cases the end of paper
is indicated with a colour stripe. For a replacement see chapter 3
Installation.

4.6 Standardisation of tests

Each test can be recalibrated with samples measured after the valid standard
measuring method. Normally the reading of at least three samples is requested to
define the regression coefficients that correlate the instrument to the reference
method (max. 14 points). To effectuate a recalibration, modify the ANL-STD
parameter from the “Edit” menu item of the corresponding tests (see paragraph
4.7.1). Select the test for recalibration, change position ANL-STD to STD-ANL, then
you will be requested to define up to 14 points. After measuring results are shown on
display together with K and Q values and the regression coefficient R. These values
can be stored in memory and printed out by pressing the <up arrow> key. After the
print-out, the instrument is ready for a testing.

4.7 Menu description

4.7.1 Edit dialogue

For each test it is possible to configure the following functional parameters:

Multiplicative correlation coefficient

K

: to modify this value it is necessary to

position the cursor on it and then press the <enter> key. Digit the requested
value and then press the <enter> key to confirm or the <menu> key to return to
