Energy saving tips
•
Place the fridge in the coolest area of the room, away from heat-producing
appliances and out of direct sunlight.
•
Let heated food and beverages cool to room temperature before placing them into
the fridge.
•
Do not overload the fridge as it forces the compressor to run longer.
•
Wrap foods properly and wipe containers dry before placing them in the fridge.
This cuts down on frost build-up inside the fridge.
•
Do not line any fridge storage bin with aluminum foil, wax paper or paper towels.
Liners interfere with cold air circulation, reducing cooling efficiency.
•
Position food so that air can circulate freely around it.
•
Do not leave the fridge door open for longer the required.
•
Make sure no food touches the back of the compartment.
•
Don’t set the thermostat on exceeding cold temperatures.
