Apply the machine running against the work piece
and carefully start sawing. Then saw steadily and
without interruption so that the saw teeth have less
chance of sticking.
Non-ferrous Metals
Use only a suitable and sharp saw blade. This ensures
a clean cut and prevents jamming of the saw blade.
Apply the machine running to the workpiece, carefully
start sawing and then saw with slow feeding
and without interruption.
For profiles, always start the cut on the small side;
for U-profiles, never start the cuts on the open side.
Support long profile, otherwise the saw blade can
become jammed when the profile tips over and the
machine can “kick back”.
When selecting blade take into account wood, wood quality and
if sawing is to be done in the length or the cross.
The dust from beech and oak are particularly hazardous.
When cutting plastic, especially PVC, long, spiral
shaped shavings are produced that can be electrostatically
charged.
This can cause the machine to become clogged and
the swinging protective guard to stick. Always make sure to clean the machine
from dust and dirt.
