[ 15 ] In-line test (ARCNET and Category 5)
This test will check the In-line (ARCNET) function. This test needs the reception machine as show below:
Operation : r l l m m x 0 a 5 1 SUBTOTAL
r : Retry number and should be within the range of 0 to 9.
If input no number or 0, the test is 5 times.
This command is eftective only mode 1.
ll : The other machine ID number
mm : The machine ID number
x :
Baud rate selection
0 = 156 kbps 1 = 312 kbps
a : Mode selection
1 = Send mode 1
2 = Reception mode 1
3 = Send mode 2 3 = Reception mode 2
Note1 : To stop the test, press "Esc" key.
Note2 : The send packet data format is as follows:
Note3 : In case the data is correctly,

Reception mode 1 : Check the recveive data, then, snd the reverse receive data (FBh-01
h,00h,FFh-00h) back to the send machine.
Send mode 1: Then, after checking the reverse data, send the test data again.
[Mode 2]
Reception mode 2 : Check the receive data only.
Send mode 2 :
Send the test data each one second continuously.
Note4 : Retry opeation (Reception mode 1 or Send mode 1 is selected)
Reception side : Until "r" times continuous error, retry the reception. After that, retrun to
waiting condition.
Send side : If there no answer from reception machine, the machine will wait after
one second, retry "r" times send opertation. If there no answer again,
the machine send the error data.
