Each of the two
EX
buttons can be assigned a function of your choice. This allows you to perform the
action at any time during a performance.
Each press of the
EX1
button toggles the arpeggiator (page
) on and off.
Press the
EX2
button to call up the functions of the “CASIO MUSIC SPACE” (page

The above functions are the initial default settings for the
EX1
and
EX2
buttons. Various other
functions (such as switching Layer and Split on and off, recalling registrations, etc.) can be assigned to
either button.

Instead of steps 1 and 2 below, the “EX” screen can also be displayed by pressing the
EX1
or
EX2
button while touching the
FUNCTION
button. (If the
EX1
button is pressed, “EX1 Assign” is
selected; if the
EX2
button is pressed, “EX2 Assign” is selected.)
