It takes a long time before I can
use the Digital Piano after I turn
it on. It takes a b o u t 20 seconds after yo u t u rn on po w er to perform the memory format
operation. Wait u ntil the format operation is complete. N ote that yo u sho u ld take
care to avoid t u rning off the Digital Piano w hile a data transfer operation w ith a
comp u ter is in progress.


A tone’s quality and volume
sounds slightly different
depending where it is played on
the keyboard. This is an u navoida b le res u lt of the digital sampling process,

M u ltiple digital samples are taken for the lo w range, middle range, and high range of the
original m u sical instr u ment. Beca u se of this, there may b e very slight differences in tonal
q u ality and vol u me b et w een sample ranges.
When I press a button, the note
that is sounding cuts out
momentarily or there is a slight
change in how effects are
applied. This happens w hen the so u nds of m u ltiple parts are so u nding at the same time w hile u sing
layer, u sing the D u et Mode, playing b ack a bu ilt-in t u ne, recording, etc. Pressing a bu tton
w hen one of these conditions exists w ill ca u se the effect setting that is bu ilt into the tone to
change a u tomatically, w hich ca u ses notes to c u t o u t momentarily or ca u ses a slight change
in ho w effects are b eing applied.
I need to reset all Digital Piano
data and settings to their initial
defaults. Hold do w n the FUNCTION , MIDI REC and GRAND PIANO 2 bu ttons, and press the po w er
bu tton to t u rn on po w er.
