ASSEMBLY AND BATTERY REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

ASSEMBLY (See Fig.1, Fig.2)

•  Remove the top cap (Part A) by pulling it upward.

•  Remove the insulated paper.

•  Re-install the top cap (Part A) on the deck light (Part B). 

•  Attach the deck light (Part B) to the desired position.

•  Mark the position of the two holes on the post where the anchors will be placed.

•  Remove the deck light (Part B) from the post, and drill two holes on the target. 

   hammer the anchors into the holes of the post, and then hammer the drywall screws

   to anchors in part way.

•  

Re-attach the deck light to post by inserting the dry wall screws into the two hole at 

   the back of the deck light(Spacing is 50 mm)

•  Slide the deck light (Part B) down to lock it.

OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS 

• 

  After assembling, take the light to direct sunshine that 

     allows the rechargeable battery to reach its maximum 

     capacity.  Ensure the light is in full sunlight for 8 hours. 

     The unit will then automatically light up at dusk.

CHANGING BATTERIES (Fig.3)

•  Remove the top cap (Part A).

•  Remove the battery cover on the back of top cap (Part A) (Fig.3).

•  Remove the old battery and replace it with an new AAA 300 mAh(1.2V) Ni-MH 

    rechargeable battery.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If light does not work, to locate the defect, please follow these steps:

   Check the rechargeable battery and make sure that it is in contact to the metal plate and the polarity is correct. If the 

battery is worn out, replace the battery with (1) AAA 300 mAh(1.2V) Ni-MH rechargeable battery.

    Always keep the solar light distant from other night light sources, such as exterior lights. Reposition the light to avoid 

close contact with other night light sources.

   Make sure solar panel is clean and free of dirt and debris. If needed use a damp cloth to clean the solar panel. Do 

not use any chemical or abrasive cleaner. It is important to ensure that no moisture enters into the solar light. 

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: 

If, during normal use, this PATRIOT LIGHTING  lighting fixture breaks or fails due

to a defect in material workmanship within one (1) year from the date of original purchase, simply bring this lighting 

fixture with the original sales receipt back to your nearest MENARDS  retail store. At its discretion, PATRIOT 

LIGHTING  agrees to have the product or any defective part(s) repaired or replaced with the same or similar PATRIOT

LIGHTING  product or part free of charge, within the stated warranty period, when returned by the original purchaser 

with original sales receipt. This warranty; (1) excludes expendable parts including but not limited to light bulbs and 

batteries; (2) does not cover damage that has resulted from abuse or misuse; and (3) does not cover any losses, labor,

injuries to persons/property or costs. This warranty does give you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, 

which vary from state to state.
