5. Archiving Video into CD-RW or USB storage device
User can archive a still image or video to a CD-RW or USB storage device.
5-1. Archiving images or videos
Still images can be captured and stored into the hard disk drive in live mode or while playing back
recorded video.
5-1-1. Archive images in live mode
Press BACKUP button to capture and store the still image in live mode. Once you press the
BACKUP button, the screen will display “STILL IMAGE ARCHIVED”. Then the screen will be
displayed as shown in Figure 5.1.1. Select USB stick or CD-RW by using UP/DOWN button. Press
SEL button to transfer the data into the storage devices. (If you don’t transfer the data, press ESC
button or select NO and press SEL button.)

5-1-2. Archive images in playback mode
Press BACKUP button to capture and store the still image while playing back recorded video. Once
you press the BACKUP button, the screen will be displayed as shown in Figure 5.1.2. Select STILL
by using LEFT/RIGHT button and press SEL button. Then the screen will ask to backup. Select
USB stick or CD-RW by using UP/DOWN button. Press SEL button to transfer the data into the
storage devices. (If you don’t transfer the data, press ESC button or select NO and press SEL
button.)
