11.3 Sources of danger
11.3.1 Danger of burns
Warning
The water heated in this device, the kettle with its lid
and the tea filter with its lid can become very hot.
Please observe the following safety notices in order not to
burn or scald yourself or others.
► When boiling water & tea the kettle and the lid, the tea
filter and its lid become hot.
► Hot surfaces may still be hot after use. Do not touch the
kettle directly after use. Residual heat can cause burns!
► Do not remove the lid during boiling.
► Touch the device only at its handle.
► Be careful when you move hot and full kettle.
► Do not place any objects or cloths on the device during
operation.
► Always test the temperature of the water & tea before you
drink them.
► Do not operate the device with an open lid.
► Pay attention to the hot water steam that is produced
during boiling process. Risk of burns.
► Incorrect use of the device may cause serious burns,
therefore, attention shall be taken.
► Overflowing of boiling or hot water can cause serious
burns or injury.
► If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
