2. Switch the Pilothouse circuit breaker on the Day
Breaker Panel "ON".
3. Turn the Forward, Mid, and Aft Bilge Pump
switches on the Pilothouse Breaker Panel "ON".
Your boat is equipped with one garboard drain. The
drain allows water to drain from the bilges while the
boat is in dry storage. The boat and cradle should be
positioned to allow water to flow toward the garboard
drain. The drain is located in the transom in the deep-
est portion of the hull's “V."
Make sure the garboard drain plug is securely screwed
into the garboard drain before launching the boat.
Your boat’s sanitation system includes the master
stateroom (starboard) head, guest stateroom (port)
head, waste tanks, an optional overboard waste dis-
charge system and an optional grey water system.
When properly used, this system conforms to all United
States antipollution laws.
The two types of heads available for your boat are
described below. The electric head is standard. If you
have guests who are unfamiliar with marine sanitation
systems, instruct them on how to properly use the head.
Refer to the OEM information for details on operating
the head.
Fresh water heads: To flush a head that uses fresh
water, there must be water in the fresh water tanks or
the boat must be connected to shore water.
Seawater heads: To flush a head that uses seawater,
you must first open the seacock for the heads. The
seacock is located beneath a hatch at the entrance to the
master stateroom.
Electric Head
To flush, the electric head uses an electric motor, pow-
ered by the “house” battery bank, and either the boat’s

Coat the threads of the garboard
drain plug with waterproof
grease before you install the plug
into the garboard drain fitting.
This makes it easier to remove
the plug at a later date.
