PERIODIC MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE AND TIPS
INSIDE THE RESERVOIR
A. DRAIN, CLEAN AND FLUSH RESERVOIR
(Monthly)

C. CHECK AND CLEAN EJECTOR PUMP CAP (Monthly)
1) Remove the small white cap at the bottom of the ejector pump (the pump is the smaller blue cylinder
attached to the larger filter canister).
2)
Rinse the cap.
3)
Place the cap back onto the pump
* If the water flow to your growing drawers is inadequate during a watering cycle, check the filter cap to
see if it needs to be cleaned.
INSIDE THE GROWING ZONES
B. CLEAN DRAWERS (Monthly)
1)
Remove a drawer from the GardenChef
2)
Use a clean cloth with hot soapy water or hydrogen peroxide solution to wipe down the grow drawer;
make sure the drain holes are cleared of any debris.
3)
Rinse off the drawer with clean water
4)
Dry with clean cloth
5)
Replace in cabinet
6)
Repeat steps for all drawers
