Fasten the luggage onto the luggage carrier with the help of tension belts etc. in order to avoid
luggage falling or slipping.
●
Position heavy luggage in such a way that the heaviest point is as low down as possible, e.g. in
packing bags.
●
Always ensure that it is not possible for tensioning belts or cables to get into moving parts, e.g. the
rotating rear wheel or the pedal crank.
11.4 Bell
The bike bell used on your Carqon is a metal bell, which
emit a high ringing sound, used to help signal the rider’s
presence to other road users.
●
Push the bell button and then let it spring back to
produce a signal.
●
Position the bell on the handlebar in such a way that
you can reach it comfortably, without removing your
hand from the handlebar grip.
11.5 Prop stand
Your Carqon is equipped with a prop stand. With the help of the prop stand, you can park the cargo
bike upright when it is not in use.
11.5.1 Using the prop stand:

Hold the cargo bike securely with both hands and push the cargo bike forward so that the prop
stand springs up.
●
The prop stand will remain in this position whilst you ride.
●
In order to lift the cargo bike onto the prop stand, position yourself to the left of the handlebar next
to the cargo bike.
●
Position yourself closer to the handlebar.
●
Place your foot on the protruding part (1) of the prop stand and pull the bicycle with both hands
on the handlebars into the parking position.
