To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons, read and follow these
safety instructions before using your SculpBy hair straightener.
1. The SculpBy hair straightener is not intended for use by children under 16 years old,
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of
the appliance in a safe way and understands the hazards involved by a person responsi-
ble for their safety. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be undertaken by children
unless supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
this appliance.
This SculpBy hair straightener is not suitable for use with synthetic hair or wigs.
2. Warning: keep away from water
a) Never use the SculpBy hair straightener in the bathroom, basin or any other
application where it could come into contact with water.
b) NEVER use the device near a bath tub, shower, containers full of water, or any
other damp place.
c) Never use it with bare feet or when hands and feet are wet.
d) Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a bath, basin or sink.
e) Do not reach for the appliance if it has fallen into water.
f) Do not spray or apply wet styling aids directly onto the SculpBy hair straightener.
3. Warning: electricity
a) This product is multi-voltage; it can be used worldwide at the locations specified with travel adaptor.
b) Only use with 11 D-240V’V, 60/50 Hz power supply.
c) Do not use a voltage inverter or generator with this appliance.
d) Be sure that the hair straightener is connected to an earth connection.
e) Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged power cord or plug, or if it is
not working properly.
f) Always unplug the appliance after using it.
g) Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
h) Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
i) Do not hang the SculpBy hair straightener by the power cord.
j) Do not use an extension power cord with this appliance.
4. Warning: hot surfaces
The SculpBy hair straightener plates are hot for a total effective styling. To re-
duce the risk of burns:
a) NEVER touch the hot hair straightener plates. When not styling always lay
the SculpBy styler on a flat heat-resistant surface such as the SculpBy hair
straightener thermal blanket.
b) When styling is complete, always switch off the SculpBy hair straightener and unplug it from
the power supply.
c) Wait for the SculpBy hair straightener to cool before storing.
d) Once you have finished styling, please unplug the hair straightener, and leave it to cool down com

pletely before storing it away. Never, ever leave the straightener plugged in if you are not using it.
