tip, roll the hair strand into a curl 

(see fig. 7)

Let the heat act on the hair strands for a few seconds; then unroll the curl 

(see fig 8)

Now open the curl clip for automatic curl release and pull the appliance out of the
curl 

(see fig. 9)

Make sure that the hair strands are not too thick.

Caution, device protection!  
The appliance can be damaged by overheating!

Make sure that the appliance is open during the cooling phase.

Caution! Risk of burns from the straightening plates and  
hot appliance parts!

The appliance requires a cooling phase of approx. 15 minutes immediately  
after being switched off. Therefore, never hold the appliance by the curl clip or  
near the straightening plates when the appliance is still hot. Both the straightening 
plates and the curl clip can cause burns. Avoid any contact between hot appliance parts 
and your skin and eyes. Never remove the appliance when it is hot!

Cleaning and maintenance

 

Danger of electric shock! Switch off the unit before it is to be cleaned and pull

out the plug.
Danger of burns! It is essential to let the unit completely cool down.

Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains.

Never immerse the appliance in water.

Protect your appliance! Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.

You can clean your appliance with a slightly damp cloth and dry it with a

soft dry cloth.
If the straightening plates get dirty, use a few drops of washing-up liquid to help

clean them. Make sure that you remove all washing-up liquid residues from the 
straightening plates.

Environment and Disposal

 

Never dispose of your appliance with the regular household waste. Follow the waste 
disposal regulations of your locality or return your appliance to retailer.

Guarantee

 

The guarantee covers this product for a period of 2 years, with the exception of 
individual parts, beginning on the date of original purchase. Use of the guarantee does 
not result in extension of the guarantee period. The guarantee covers manufacturing 
faults and material faults in original parts. This guarantee does not include normal wear 
and tear and damage to the product by accident or misuse, abuse, alteration to the 
product or use inconsistent with the technical and/or safety instructions required.

If your product requires repair, you should contact an authorized service dealer.
