The instructions include safety guidelines and other information
important for the proper functioning of the appliance. Please read
the instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. If the
appliance changes hands, be sure to give the instructions to the

• Please read the instruction manual thoroughly before use.
• After use, please store the hair curler set in a safe place, out of
reach of children. Keep children away from packaging materials.
Danger of suffocating!
• Do not use the appliance near wash basins or other vessel filled
with water/liquids.
• Never immerse the set in water or any other liquid.
• Operate the appliance never unattended, and only according to
the specifications on the rating plate.
• Please unplug immediately after use, in case of disturbances
during operation and before you clean the appliance. Always
pull on the mains plug when unplugging, not on the cord.
• Let the unit completely cool down before storage and do not
wind the power cord around the set.
• If damage should be detected on the power cord, mains plug,
housing or other parts, stop using the appliance.
• Repairs should only be carried out by a specialist trader or our
Service Center.
• If the appliance is hot, do not touch the base plate or heating
rods. Make sure that the hot surface of the hair rollers does
not come into contact with parts of your sensitive skin (face
or neck). Danger of scald!
• The appliance becomes very hot. Always place it on a hard,
heat-resistant surface. Never place it on a soft surface (e.g.
carpet, bed or towel). Fire hazard!
• Make sure that no hair lotions or conditioner enter the curler.
• Use this set for natural hair only.
• The appliance is not approved for commercial use.
• Only specialists are allowed to do reparations. Improperly
reparations can cause considerable danger!
• There is always risk of injury when using electrical appliances
improperly!
• To prevent unintentional misuse, keep the appliance stored
away in a safe place.
• This appliance is not intended for use by children or other
persons without assistance or supervision if their physical,
sensory or mental capabilities prevent them from using it
safely. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins
or other vessels containing water.

Safety lock:
The lid and bottom of the appliance are connected to each other
via a safety lock. This allows you to safely carry the appliance
using the handle on the lid without the appliance coming open.
Opening:
Push on the safety lock at the side. Through this, the
lid will be released and can be lift up from the appliance via the
handle.
Closing:
Hold the lid by the handle and set it back onto the
appliance until it audibly locks into place. Press safety lock.
