Do not use any other

accessories other than

those supplied.

Always try to use the

exhaust hose at its

shortest length.

Take care not to bow

or bend the middle of

the exhaust hose as this

will trap hot air and

may cause the unit to

shut down.

i

Information

Attach exhaust hose

1.

Screw the rounded ends of

accessory parts 9 onto both
ends of the exhaust hose.

2.

Fit the rectangular end of

accessory part 9 to the back of
the unit.

Extracting hot air to the outside
can be achieved by the
following methods:

1. Using foam strips

Open window and fit foam piece
(with gap) to the most favourable
position.

Fit exhaust pipe into gap and fit
part 12 to the other side. This will
keep the exhaust pipe in place.

2. Permanent connection

Make a hole to fit part 10 into
the window/wall and fit part 10
with the flat surface inside the
house. Screw the exhaust pipe
onto part 10. When not in use,
remove the exhaust pipe and fit
the cap.

(Warning: Take care when
cutting the hole, especially
if made into glass - we
recommend this is done by
a professional.)

An alternative is to place hose
out of window with as little open
space as possible. However this
will not be as effective as the
two methods suggested above.

Connecting your air conditioner
