6 - MAINTENANCE
6.1 - CLEANING
The appliance does not require particular maintenance, with the exception
of regular cleaning of the working area: before cleaning the appliance
always disconnect it from the power supply.
Use non-flammable cleaning products and liquids that do not conduct
electricity.
When you have finished using the appliance, flush out the pipelines and
the tube supplied in the peristaltic pump with fresh water to eliminate any
traces of saline solution.
6.2 - STERILIZATION
Particular attention must be paid to cleaning and sterilizing the
micromotor complete with hose and support; all these parts are
autoclavable.
The tube supplied in the peristaltic pump can be cleaned with alcohol or
sterilizing liquids.
IMPORTANT: do not sterilize the micromotor with liquids that conduct
electricity.
7 - DIAGNOSTICS
If the appliance is not working, check the fuses at the rear (7, Fig. 2). To
change the fuses refer to the specifications in the table in chapter 2 of this
manual.
Before checking the fuses, set the main power switch to "0" (OFF) and
unplug the mains power cable; check the condition of the fuses and
replace if necessary. Once the fuse caps have been refitted you can
insert the power cable plug into the mains socket outlet.
If malfunctions and faulty operation persist, unplug the appliance
and consult CARLO DE GIORGI.
