5.2 - INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
5.2.1 - Setting into operation
After performing the installation procedures, the appliance can be set into
operation:
1) install the required handpiece and tool;
2) switch on the appliance from the main power switch (6, Fig. 2);
3) select the required program number, using the “shift” button (7, Fig. 6)
to position the cursor on field 1 (Fig. 8) and then pressing the “-” or “+”
buttons until the required program number is displayed;
4) if none of the preset programs are suitable for the type of operation to
be performed, then one of the existing programs can be modified (see
subheading 5.2.3);
5) press the footswitch to start the motor; you can use the control devices
on the footswitch to switch the water pump ON and OFF and to
change the direction of rotation of the motor.
5.2.2 - Normal stopping and emergency stopping procedures
The motor can be stopped as follows:
- by releasing the footswitch;
- by setting the main power switch to OFF;
- by unplugging the power plug from the electrical socket outlet.
5.2.3 - Program edit procedure
To edit a program (see Figs. 6 and 8), select the “program n°” field and
then use the “-” and “+” buttons to select the number of a free program or
a program that is not used.
When you have selected a program to edit, move between the relative
parameters using the “shift” button and modify the values as required
using the “-” and ”+” buttons; when you have finished making your
changes, save the modified program by selecting the “program n°” field
and then using the “-” or “+” buttons to select a different program. If the
appliance is powered down before you have performed this final step,
your changes will be lost.
ALWAYS SWITCH OFF THE APPLIANCE WHEN YOU FINISH WORKING WITH
IT AND FOLLOWING ALL STOPPAGES, IRRESPECTIVE OF THE MOTIVE.
IF YOU NOTICE MALFUNCTIONS, STOP THE APPLIANCE IMMEDIATELY AND
DISCONNECT IT FROM THE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY. BEFORE
RECONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY FIND THE CAUSE OF THE FAULT AND
