1. LIMITED WARRANTY. The warranty obligations of Carico International,
Inc. (“Carico”) for this product are limited to the terms set forth below:
2. WHAT IS COVERED? This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and
workmanship in your product.
3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED? This Limited Warranty does not cover any
damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any alteration,
modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse, abuse,
accident, neglect, exposure to excess moisture, fire, improper packing and
shipping (you must present such claims to your shipping company), lightning,
power surges, or other acts of nature. This Limited Warranty does not cover
(i) any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any unauthorized
tampering or modification of the product; (ii) any repairs attempted by anyone
unauthorized by Carico to make such repairs; or (iii) any other cause, which does
not relate directly to a defect in materials and/or workmanship of the product.
This Limited Warranty also does not cover expendable items, including but not
limited to Air Intake Filter, Polyester Filter, Motor Intake Filter, Upper Lid Filter
and brushes.

HOW LONG DOES THIS COVERAGE LAST? This Limited Warranty provides
the coverage for One (1) year from the date of purchase. Carico warrants the
boiler for three (3) years from the date of purchase if you have an authorized
Carico Service Center or Distributor annually descale the unit.
5. WHO IS COVERED? Only the original purchaser of the Carico product
is covered under Carico’s Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty is not
transferable to subsequent purchasers or owners of this product.

WHAT CARICO WILL DO.
a. Carico will, at its sole option, provide one of the following three remedies
to whatever extent Carico, in its sole discretion, deems necessary to satisfy a
proper claim under this limited warranty:
i. Repair or facilitate the repair of any defective unit or parts within a
reasonable period of time, free of any charge for the necessary parts and
labor, other than any applicable shipping, handling and processing fees
as expressly set forth herein, to complete the repair and restore this
product to its proper operating condition.
ii. Replace the defective product with a direct replacement or with a
similar product deemed by Carico, in its sole discretion, to perform
substantially the same function as the original product; or
iii.Issue a refund of the original purchase price less depreciation
determined based on the age of the product at the time remedy is sought
under this limited warranty.
7. WHAT CARICO WILL NOT DO UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY?
a. If Carico authorizes you to return a product (see section 8 below) and you
elect to return any product to Carico or the authorized Distributor from
which it was purchased or any other party authorized to repair Carico
products, you must insure the product during shipment, with said insurance
and shipping charges prepaid by you. If this product is returned uninsured,
you assume all risks of loss or damage during shipment.
b. Carico is not responsible for any costs related to the removal or re-
installation of any product.
c. Carico is not responsible for any costs related to installation or setting up
of any product, or any adjustment a product may require.
8. HOW TO OBTAIN A REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
a. To obtain a remedy under this limited warranty, you must first contact
either Carico or the authorized distributor from whom you purchased the
product. To pursue any remedy under this limited warranty, you must
possess an original, dated contract or receipt as proof of purchase from an
authorized Carico distributor.
b. Do not return this product to Carico under this limited warranty without
first obtaining a return authorization number (“RA”). You can obtain an
RA only from Carico’s Customer Service Department (1-800-440-1434) or
email at [email protected].
c. If Carico decides that you need to return it directly to Carico, make sure
that you properly pack the product, preferably in the original carton, for
shipping.
